On April 28 and 29, 2009, as part of National Victims of Crime Awareness Week, the CAVAC network presented a symposium on the theme “Services for victims, today and in the future”, thanks to financial assistance received from the Ministère de la Justice du Québec. Over 150 participants attended two days of presentations and workshops focusing on victim services.

The event offered an excellent opportunity to sum up the services available today, to discover a wide range of tools and services offered in all areas of Québec, and to think about the services that will be needed in the future.

The presentation “Post-traumatic stress and resilience”, given by Evelyne Donnini, a psychologist and trainer in post-traumatic interventions, is made available here in PDF format along with most of the workshop presentations (in French).
