CAVAC symposium

On April 15, 2008, Québec’s CAVAC network marked National Victims of Crime Awareness Week with a symposium on the theme Ensemble unissons nos forces, Vingt ans d’aide aux victims (“Working together, twenty years of helping victims”).

The event attracted over 140 participants and was a great success. Many key questions were raised, in particular during the testimony of Martine Ayotte, a victim of sexual abuse by her father during childhood.

Audio files of the presentations made at the symposium are available here in MP3 format. Some presentations are also available in written (PDF) format (in French).

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the speakers and participants, as well as to everyone involved in organizing the symposium.

We hope to see you again next year!
